OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE

Courses: Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course.

 

Price: $395.00 for Elearning method all done on your personal computer at your own pace. Then meet with your Instructor for your pool training and Open Water Certification.

​

 $350.00 for the traditional classroom method where you participate in a series of slide presentations and videos to 

complete your knowledge portion. Then onto 4 pool sessions along with 4 open water dives to finalize the certification process.

Both methods include everything needed to complete open water certification.

Private classes are $599.00

​

Additional Cost: Crater entrance fee of $27 per diver per day.

​

 

Price Includes: Classroom, pool and Open Water instruction; PADI e-learning Code; lifetime PADI certification card; scuba rental equipment for pool and Open Water use.

 

Available for Purchase: Personal gear- mask, snorkel, boots, fins. Call or come in for more information and pricing.

Class/Pool: - Weeknight Open Water course- 4 evenings of class/ pool training , Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00-10 pm over 2 weeks. Classroom portion is either independent study performed online at the students own pace or traditional classroom setting. Classes usually start the first or second Tuesday of each month, please call for details.

Checkout Dives: 4 Open Water training checkout dives over a 2 day period. (2 dives a day)-

 

Checkout dives are always scheduled 2 days in a row with 2 hour time slots. Usually 2-4pm, 4-6 pm or 6-8pm

 

Checkout dives done at Homestead Crater in Midway, Utah. 

 

Pre-requisites: Basic swimming skills(swim assessment )

Course Description:

Following is a checklist of what you will need to know before starting your first class.

 

• Review the PADI Divers Medical Questionnaire and Medical Statement.  PDF medical form below.

• Complete the Physicians Sign Off Form if you have answered "YES" to any item.

• Understand your class schedule, including, pool and Open Water dates

• Pick up PADI Crew Pak training materials or eLearning code                                                                                                                                                                                                          

• Complete eLearning training

• Purchase any personal equipment needed

• Don't forget your swimsuit and towel!
